This is pretty much the most exciting news to hit our desks today. This Saturday, Plant 3 Bowden is going to be holding a mega pooch party from 9am-3pm, and everyone’s invited!
The family friendly event is being held to celebrate the RSPCA Cupcake Day, and to help put a stop to animal cruelty.
Bring your 4-legged friends along, and enjoy cupcakes & sweets (vegan and gluten free options available) as well as pupcakes and other treats for your doggos.
There will be a door prize and raffle prize packs to be won worth over $2000 – all in the name of fundraising for this great cause!
Buy a cupcake (or several), and here’s how you’ll be helping:
12 cupcakes can provide a neglected kitten with a bed, litter tray, meals and a toy
25 cupcakes can provide a week of antibiotics for a homeless dog recovering from surgery
50 cupcakes can desex a at or dog so they can be adopted
120 cupcakes can subsidise emergency surgery for an animal
175 cupcakes can keep two of the RSPCA inspectors on the road, fighting animal cruelty
