The World Tennis Challenge Is Coming To Adelaide

Tennis fanatics, take a deep breath, and listen up – the World Tennis Challenge is coming to town on January 7 and 8, 2019.

The two-night tournament will see players compete in preparation for the Australian Open – the first Grand Slam of the year.

You’ll be able to catch both current stars and legend of the game down at the Memorial Drive Tennis Centre during the event too, so make sure to bring a pen and paper (or poster above your bed) for a sneaky signature from (possibly) your idol/s.

Past players have included; John McEnroe, Martina Navratilova, Goran Ivanisevic, Pat Rafter, Martina Hingis, Stan Wawrinka, and South Australia’s rising young gun Thanasi Kokkinakis.

The World Tennis Challenge attracts over 14,000 spectators each year, and 2019 is set to be, yet again, a big one.

Ticket prices range from $6 – $112. You can find out more about ticketing here.
