Semaphore continues to be a lively place to call home, with the Semaphore Road strip seeing the addition of more awesome new bars, cafes and restaurants to enjoy. The newest and certainly most unique addition to the strip is Hades Hula House, Adelaide’s first tiki cocktail lounge and restaurant.
Think tropical cocktails in tall, carved glasses with ludicrous umbrellas, and you’ve got the general vibe of what a tiki lounge is, and we can’t think of a better place for one than down by the beach in Semaphore.

While Triple H (not the wrestler) has a wide selection of cocktails on offer, the obvious star is their comprehensive rum selection – an essential ingredient for any worthy tiki lounge. There’ll be something tropical and fruity to suit everyone’s tastes.

And yes, you read that right, they also do late-night risque burlesque shows! This one’s not for the kids, guys. You can however bring them along to their Faraway Friday night with the Mexican-themed surf rock band, CHICA CHICA Electrica. Check out the event page for more info.
