The Kings Street Carnival – 3 days celebrating world class beer, wine, produce & entertainment from South Australia.
The Kings is celebrating its first birthday. That means a whole year of serving up the best food, wine & brews that this state has to offer as “Adelaide’s first & Only South Australian Only Bar & Restaurant”. So as part of those celebrations we are throwing one hell of a party on Sturt Street for an entire weekend!
Party under the stars as Sturt Street will be closed and transformed into a street carnival including bars, outdoor stage, delicious food and a few surprises thrown in too. Adjacent the Kings Hotel this will be a unique indoor/outdoor event.
We all know about Coopers – and boy don’t we! We’ve sure got all their tried and true brews, but it’s time to wrap your laughing gear around some of this state’s boutique offerings too. Great selections from The Lobethal Bierhaus, Brew Boys, Aussie Cider, Izzie, Woodstock and The Lane Vineyard.
The Entertainment:
Friday = Gentleman’s Record Club Under the Stars – 7pm-midnite (outside) – open ’til 4am in the Kings Bar
Featuring: The Transatlantics (live), The Huggy Bear Sound System & Friday Knights
A fun filled evening of Funk, Soul and Jazz, old fashioned street party styles.
Saturday = Clever Cuts Block Party – 4pm-midnite (on the street) – open ’til 4am in the Kings Bar

Sunday = Sunday session FREE ENTRY! Residents, families, recovery sessioners come and enjoy some relaxed tunes & a lazy Sunday beer or two.
