The colder months are setting in, which inevitably means skating rinks start popping up in and around the city. While the kids love it, the adults are getting braver each year, hitting the ice (hopefully not literally) and making the most of this cool activity (see what we did there).
This year will see The Skating At Festival coming to Adelaide for the first time. Popping up over the winter school holidays, it will be offering a unique winter wonderland ice skating experience with a stack of other reasons to head to the rink.
In its first year, Adelaide’s Skating At pop-up ice-skating rink will be located in the city centre at Victoria Square from June 29 – July 22, 2018.
This affordable family-friendly event should be great fun for people of all ages and skill levels!
The open-air ice rink offers a world-class, family-friendly entertainment precinct with magical lighting, music, fantastic rides including ice slides, jumping castles, a Ferris Wheel and delicious food and drink options.
Ideal for school holiday fun – Skating At Festival will offer plenty of activities to keep kids entertained all day long!
Parents can either join them on the ice or watch from the sidelines whilst enjoying a coffee or snack from one of the many food and beverage vendors.
Time on the rink starts from just $18.00 for children and $24.00 for adults. Full pricing is listed below.
For the kids, or for those that need a little assistance on the ice, Skating At offers the world’s first ‘Kanga’ skate aid keeping skaters balanced and adding a whole lot of fun. Your skill level shouldn’t stop you – get on out there! Skating At opens officially tomorrow!
