Head Along To Adelaide’s Last Ever Roller Disco

Grab your skates peeps. This may be your last chance to live our your roller disco dreams before St Clair closes its roller skating arena for good.

Times, they are a changin’. Adelaide institution, the St Clair Roller Skating arena, is about to hold its last ever roller disco on August 5th, with the St Clair Rec Centre closing its doors forever before the site is redeveloped.

St Clair was actually the first indoor recreation centre built in the southern hemisphere, and the roller skating rink has seen thousands of people through its doors over the years. So while we’re a little sad it’s all about to end, it’s a great chance to don those skates one last time and live it up, old school.

The 4 hour event from 6-10pm is only $10 for a ticket, pretty much making it the cheapest entertainment in town. The disco promises great music, games and even prizes. Considering how terrible we are on skates though, those prizes may be going to some slightly more skillful attendees!

If you require skate hire on the night you MUST PURCHASE A TICKET. Tickets can be purchased from St Clair during weekend staffed hours as of Tuesday 16th May OR online via https://www.stickytickets.com.au/53201/st_clair_last_ever_roller_disco.

If you have your own skates, you can still purchase a ticket so you don’t have to line up. If not, you can pay at the front door on the night. Tickets are only available at the door if you have your own skates!

So get your Beyonce on and we’ll see you at the disco!
