Lot 100 Launches A Mega Cellar Door, Distillery And Brewery Destination

We’re very excited to introduce you to Adelaide’s newest mega booze destination—Lot 100!

If you’re as social media savvy as we are, you might have seen a few sneak peeks of something new brewing in the Adelaide Hills. If you’re not, then it’s our honour to introduce you to Adelaide’s newest mega booze destination—Lot 100!

There are four, local companies involved in Lot 100: Mismatch Brewing Co, Hills Cider Co, Adelaide Hills Distillery and Ashton Valley Fresh.

Leigh Morgan, who is part of the dream team behind the development, says, “We blend well as a unit and a front because we all have the same company values—integrity of product, environmental impact and footprint, sustainability and ensuring that everything is ethically sourced.”

While it might not look like much right now, the venue forms a cellar door, distillery and brewery for each of the companies involved. The distillery and brewery are located within 100 meters of the main venue, so visitors can get up close and personal and witness the inner workings of each company. For booze aficionados, there’ll also be a range of masterclasses in brewing, distilling and cider making on offer!

Lot 100 also hopes to become an Adelaide Hills tourism destination by incorporating a bar and restaurant  with a huge farm to plate focus, with local onsite ingredient foraging from Lot 100’s very own market gardens to use in their house-made small goods and restaurant menus.

The venue will have enough room to comfortably seat 350 people for lunch or dinner—or up to 600 people standing up for something like a cocktail function. Lot 100 will also have many different options within the site for small private functions to 350 seater weddings. And with such picturesque views, we’re sure you’ll be vying to host your next function here!

“The purpose of building this site is to be able to hold an array of events moving forward,” Leigh says. While the venue has a few exciting events on the horizon, Leigh jokes he doesn’t want to overwhelm us with excitement (too late!), so you’ll have to check back for more details in the near future.

The new location is set to open in late October, just in time for spring and summer activities. They’re hoping to be open Thursday through Sunday to start with, but the venue will be open for private functions, weddings and special events inside and outside of those hours.
Keep up to date with the development of Lot 100 on Facebook and Instagram or by following any of the companies involved!
