Longview’s Highly Anticipated Piece Project Is Back (This Time In The City!)

Extreme weather conditions this January meant that Longview Vineyard postponed their annual street art event—The Piece Project. But as promised, it’s back!

Extreme weather conditions this January meant that Longview Vineyard postponed their annual street art event—The Piece Project. But as promised, it’s back! This time, Longview has brought the mountain to the man with the extremely popular event at a city venue—the Published Art House—as part of the 2018 SALA program!

The concept is pretty simple—four Australian street artists battle it out for the chance to be featured on the label of Longview’s ‘The Piece’ Shiraz. Last year, our fave local artist Lisa King won the crown with her gorgeous mural!

This year, Longview invites you to chill out with a glass of wine in hand while watching artists J2SKE, Masika, Morris Green and Grots create their masterpieces in hopes of gracing ‘The Piece’ label. These street-art legends have five hours to complete their piece and at 8pm, a winner is crowned! Vote for your favourite piece and go in the draw for amazing Longview prizes, like a night in their 4-star vineyard accomodation!

Be part of the huge festival crowd enjoying all-day beats and bevvies late into the evening and witness the creation of a limited edition street art wine label in real time.

Make sure you keep Saturday 18th August free from 3pm to late to stop by Published Art House and kick off the competition with award-winning Longview wine, local beers, ciders and a few of your fave local food trucks!

Tickets go for up to $30 and you can get your hands on them on Eventbrite or even from the event Facebook page.
