Calling all gin lovers—you’ll know by now that World Gin Day is on its way and we’re so excited we can hardly wait until Saturday 9th June! Lucky for us, we won’t have to! Settlers Spirits, local gin specialists, want to help us all get ready for the best day of the year by holding two Gin Tasting in the City events at the Hotel Grand Chancellor.
Hotel Grand Chancellor are eager to welcome you to Sebastyan’s Bar in the hotel lobby to join owner and head distiller of Settlers Spirits, Rowland Short, as he showcases some of his favourite gin recipes and talks you through some free tastings! There’ll be cocktail specials all night (think $10 Gin Cosmos and Gin Daiquiri or a classic Gin and Tonic for $7—yes, please!) and happy hour goes until 7pm every night with plenty of specials.
Join Rowland at Sebastyan’s Bar on the 1st June from 4pm to 6pm or 8th June from 6.30pm to 8pm for an informative and delightful session celebration South Australia’s favourite spirit.
Settlers Spirits are also launching their new Shiraz Gin made from grapes grown on their own property just in time for World Gin Day, so if you’re lucky, you may be able to get your hands on some of that sweet mashup after its release date on 4th June.
The best part is the event is free, so you just have to rock up and be-gin the evening the right way!
