It’s Goodbye Spaghetti Crab, But Hello To Spaghetti Meatballs

The next single-dish restaurant is coming!

Spaghetti Crab is closing this week, but never fear, the next stage is coming.

The Ruby Red Flamingo team have just announced they’re staying on in the North Adelaide space, but they’re changing up the dish.

Opening on October 4, Spaghetti Meatballs will serve the one dish, just like its predecessor.

So no decision-making, no arguments – you only have the one dish to choose from (plus there are three perfectly-matched Italian wines on offer).

After the high demand for Carmela Ventura’s Spaghetti Crab recipe, husband Vic Ventura is having his turn.

“Carmela’s Spaghetti Crab is one of my favourite meals – closely followed by my own Spaghetti Meatballs,” he said.

“We had such a great response to the Spaghetti Crab concept that we thought it was only fair to roll out my signature flavour – the sauce, the perfect spaghetti, and the tender meatballs will have come straight from my family’s table to your plate.”

Vic will work closely with the kitchen team, who will be recreating his original recipe for the people of Adelaide to enjoy.

Spaghetti Meatballs will be open for a limited time from Thursday October 4 at 47 O’Connell Street, North Adelaide. They’ll trade Thursday to Saturday 5.30pm – late.
