Barossa Vintage Festival 2019 Program Released

The Barossa Vintage Festival is coming back for another year to showcase the Barossa story whilst celebrating everything wine, food and culture.

The program has just been released and we’re looking at close to 90 events in the Barossa Valley! Spanning over five days from April 24 to the 28, popular events such as the Ziegenmarkt, Vintage Festival Parade and the Barossa Wine Auction are returning.

Festival Director, Jenny O’Brien, Tourism Barossa Regional Tourism Manager, Cathy Wills and Tourism Barossa Chair, Chris Pfeiffer.

Joining the line-up is also a range of new events like the Greenock Feast-ival will show the heart of the Barossa community. You can take your picnic rug or chairs to Greenock Village and spend the afternoon enjoying local fare and music. Others to watch out for include Something in the Street and The Parade Carnival.

Festival Director, Jenny O’Brien, says that the diversity of the Barossa community is really present in the 2019 program.

“From intimate wine tasting and blending experiences, masterclasses and long lunches, to high tea in the garden, lawn parties, picnics and markets; the Vintage Festival has it all.”

Events super affordable with half of them being free or under $20 for tickets making it perfect for everyone. The festival also falls during the April school holidays so it’s the perfect spot for families.
