Bacchus Bar Launches Kids Breakfast Boards

One of the best beachside breakfast locations in Adelaide just got more family friendly! Henley Beach institution Bacchus Wine Bar, has further extended its already bountiful breakfast menu to include an extra special brekkie board especially for the kids.

“It’s designed to promote family interaction”, says Bacchus manager, Jodi Dimond. “Parents can enjoy their breakfast platter and the kids can feel grown up with one of their own. Eating together over platters encourages people to share things and converse at the same time. We wanted to be able to offer more to help families do this”.

The platters are based around a healthy, balanced breakfast with fruits, yoghurt and baked beans, but there are also a couple of special treats like pancakes, complete with syrup. The centrepiece of the platter is a Humpty Dumpty egg, accompanied by toast soldiers for dipping.

“The beauty of having a platter is that everyone can have a little bit of everything, depending what mood they’re in,” Jodi says. “It also encourages kids to try new things”.

To further add to the perfect family moment, there are stunning uninterrupted beach front views to enjoy from the tables on the terrace. Ordering a babyccino along with your latte on a lazy weekend morning with the family just got a whole lot more relaxing.

Bacchus Wine Bar is at 253 The Esplanade, Henley Beach. Breakfast is available Saturday and Sunday until midday. Bacchus will be closed for winter break between 26th June and 17th July 2017 so you’ve only got a week left to enjoy these bad boys!
