A Guide To Adelaide’s Karaoke Bars

Whether you’re up for some laughs with your mates, or you want to practice belting out your favourite tunes for your next audition on Australia’s Got Talent, we’ve found the places to go.

Over the years, we’ve certainly found ourselves (willing or not) in many a Karaoke bar. Then, once the music starts, and your favourite tunes start to play, you find yourself helpless to the power of the microphone. You were born to be on stage, and this is your moment. Sound familiar?

While you may only know of a few, well known Karaoke bars around Adelaide, we’ve dug deep, and found plenty more, so if you have no shame and want to belt out those high notes to Mariah Carey then this guide is for you.

Whether you’re up for some laughs with your mates, or you want to practice belting out your favourite tunes for your next audition on Australia’s Got Talent, we’ve found the places to go.

La Sing – 261 Gouger St, Adelaide

A Karaoke stalwart, this place will get you feeling like Beyoncé on the one and only main stage, with your Destiny’s Child gang. It’s free entry but get there before 11pm to secure your spot if you want to get ahead of the song list. Free entry also means you have more to spend on reasonably priced drinks at the bar and they also serve food! Busiest nights are naturally Friday & Saturday nights, however if you are dedicated and love to sing, check it out on a Sunday and Thursday night as well. Open Tuesday – Sunday.
