Monday’s have historically been Adelaide’s hospo day off, but not anymore. With our city expanding, so has our dining options on quieter nights. If you’re feeling the Monday blues and just can’t force yourself to go home after work and cook a meal then check out these restaurants all around Adelaide that have opened their doors on Monday nights.

2KW

The absolute in rooftop venues in Adelaide, 2KW has you covered for great food and serious booze. Settle in for a cocktail and a view in the outdoor bar areas, or one of the best meals Adelaide has to offer in the restaurant.

The Mile End

Visit this gastropub on Henley Beach Road and try out their exceptional pub food, tapas and modern cuisine. Enjoy their beer garden on a warm night otherwise cosy up inside as it starts to get chilly. Mondays also host 5-6pm happy hour which works as a great reward if you’re waiting for their kitchens to open at 6pm.

The Unley

Relax at the Unley’s open rooftop bar with a gastropub menu that features a host of share plates, pub classics and a variety of craft beers, local wine and spirits to go with it. They use local produce for a fresh meal that’ll energise you for the working week. 12-2:30pm lunch and 6-9pm dinner.

The Moseley

Meal by the beach? Yes please. Especially if you grab a coveted rooftop spot where you can see the sunset as you sip on any of the Moseley’s host of delicious cocktails alongside a hearty meal. Open Mondays from 11am to 12am.

Sukhumvit Soi 38

With a constantly changing menu Soi 38 gives you a taste of Thailand, after all it’s named after the busiest street food address in Bangkok. They’re coeliac and vegetarian friendly too so you can enjoy their local produce without any worries.
11:30am to 2:30pm lunch | 5:30pm to 9:30pm dinners

The Colonist

Relax in the Colonist’s intimate dining room with full table service or soak up the outdoors with their alfresco dining areas. Happy hour is between 5-6pm so treat yourself to a few drinks before a tavern meal.

12pm – 2.30pm lunch | 6pm – 9pm Dinner | All day menu items 2.30pm – 6.00pm

The Lady Burra Brewhouse

This traditional brewhouse has a Portuguese twist that’ll spice up your Monday night. With $15 tapas and the Monday night deal of 9″ pizzas for only $12. Lady Burra also supplies a variety of beers for any occasion and palate. Open from 11am to 10pm on Mondays.

Press* Food and Wine

Check out Press’s custom chargrill on a Monday night with a comprehensive menu of meats cooked in deliciously craft recipes. They only use local produce and pretty much everything is done ‘in house’ for your benefit. Press is open always on Mondays from 12-9pm (except public holidays).

Mayflower

Featuring a restaurant, a rooftop bar and a terrace, the Mayflower is a go to for classic dishes and an enticing dessert trolley that is simply irresistible. Mayflower Restaurant on the lower level of the Mayfair Hotel is open every Monday night for dinner from 4pm to 11pm.

Treasury 1860

Check out their courtyard for a beautiful lunch over a glass of wine or a hearty dinner in their kitchens and spend an evening getting a globally inspired yet locally produced meal. Their menus evolve seasonally so with the cold weather approaching their Kangaroo loin is to die for.

12pm – 3pm Lunch | 6pm – 9pm Dinner

Georges on Waymouth

Breads, pastas and desserts made fresh daily makes for a delicious meal at Georges. Their autumn menu features Oyster starters, Kangaroo mains and a wine list that includes local options and European varieties. A good gluten free menu also awaits you. Open from 7am to 9pm on Mondays.

Osteria Oggi

Walk into Osteria Oggi and see the cobblestoned floor, arches, arbour, meat room, private cellar, intimate booth seating, and a mezzanine-level kitchen. Fresh made pasta and wood smoked slow roasted meats and a matching wine list will brighten up your Monday. Open from 11:30am to 9:30pm.

Bread & Bone

With a daily changing menu Bread & Bone should be your new CBD destination. Check out their gourmet burgers and maybe after pop downstairs into Maybe Mae and enjoy a cocktail. Bread & Bone is open till 10pm on Monday nights but Maybe Mae will be going on till 2am.

Taste of Nepal

In the heart of Norwood, find your Nepalese fix in Taste of Nepal. Freshly ground spices and local produces provide an exciting alternative to your usual cuisine. Why not try it out this Monday. They open at 5pm till 9:30pm.

Bombay Bicycle Club

If you’re looking for some British Raj Indian then Bombay Bicycle Club is your call. The beautiful lavishly decorated venue transports you back in time where you can enjoy authentic Indian food in the Rajabar Dining and a more traditional pub grub menu in the Kipling Restaurant. Open from 12pm to 9pm.

Oyster Bar Holdfast Shores

Perhaps a more niche option but for those who love oysters then Oyster Bar Holdfast Shores is the place to be. Sourcing all of their oysters from Coffin Bay, absolutely fresh and served in a variety of recipes. Don’t worry though, if you’re not too big a fan, they also offer a load of other seafood dishes so everyone can appreciate dinner by the Marina. They’re open on Mondays from 11am to 11:30pm.
