It’s that time of the year again – Bachelorette fans get comfy ‘n’ hold on to your couches, as the lineup for the 2018 Bachelorette Australia has been revealed.
The 32 year-old Bachelorette, Ali Oetjen, from our very own beautiful state of South Australia (SA), will have a selection of 18 dashing men from around the nation to get to know, and boy are we keen to see who’s in the runnin’ for some lovin’.
But hang on, not one contestant from SA? How could this be? Are we seriously in that much of a ‘man drought’?
Well turns out that in Adelaide, there are 28,000 more women than men…So don’t panic single ladies – it’s not you, it’s the man drought.
But hey, knowing Adelaide’s community vibe, and everyone legit knowing everyone through your best-friend’s-cousin’s-neighbour, or something of the like, it’d probably be hard to come by a fellow South Aussie with zero connection…We feel ya, Ali.
Moving past this South Australian tragedy (we will rebuild), this year will see the first ever contestant from the Northern Territory, 27 year-old Benny Adamson, who is arguably a Nick ‘Honey Badger’ Cummins lookalike. Coincidence? We’ll see about that.
