If you’ve ever had a good brisket or ribs, chances are they were cooked using a smoker, if not a Yoder Smoker. A Yoder Smoker is basically like the BBQ King’s choice – it’s the creme de la creme of the BBQ-ing world. Everyone we know who does good low and slow meats, has one of these bad boys.

Chris Jarmer from Jarmer’s Kitchen and his good mate Kaneo Bose have just unleashed all kinds of madness with a new, gigantic (and very much portable) Yoder Smoker which you can hire for private and corporate events, weddings and well, just about everything in between. JK’s BBQ & Smoke can churn out up to 200kg of meat using clean heat charcoal and wood from Kaneo’s farm in the Barossa.

Deep from the bowels of Kansas in the US of A, this thing has made it’s way to Adelaide and it would have been a crime not to check it out in action…

JK’s BBQ & Smoke will be out in full swing for the three-day Beer & BBQ Festival in July. There will be a slew of the best South Australian, Australian and International Beer & Cider with over 50 exhibitors along with some of South Australia’s best restaurants and chef’s cooking up a BBQ storm with some very special interstate and international BBQers.

If you can’t make it to the Beer & BBQ Festival, Jarmer’s Kitchen have a smaller smoker which they whip up specials like 16 hour brisket and baby back pork ribs in.
