Melissa Barnes has launched Adelaide’s first luxury handbag hire service, Hire my Handbag, renting out her beloved range of luxury accessories.
Melissa was inspired by her passion for racewear, first stepping into the fashion industry by designing and handmaking millinery pieces for racing carnivals. With clothing hire companies thriving, Melissa decided it was the perfect opportunity to provide the accessories to match.
“No outfit is complete without the perfect accessories but designer handbags can cost thousands of dollars and are not always affordable for the everyday girl like me. I’m excited to give fellow fashion lovers the opportunity to treat themselves to a luxury handbag or headpiece for the day,” she said.
You can browse the available handbags online, or check them out in person at Adelaide hire boutique Style Hutt. They can then be booked online and shipped directly to your door, or picked up in store. Bags are available to rent from Thursday to Monday.
Hire my Handbag’s assortment includes designs from Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Yves Saint Laurent, Chanel, and Givenchy, with styles ranging from classic to bright and bold.
And hire starts from just $30. So if you skipped a few takeaway coffees or lunches for the week, you could have a YSL or Givenchy slung over your shoulder. Sounds alright to us.
