Woodstock’s Tasting Room Is Now Open And We’re In Love

McLaren Vale is home to Woodstock Wine Estate and they’ve just opened The Stocks, a stunning tasting room and cellar door bringing you the best of Woodstock.

We’re so lucky in SA to have some of the best wines in the world, especially to be home to Woodstock Wine Estate and their brand new tasting room and cellar door, The Stocks Tasting Room.

Woodstock is taking The Stocks Tasting Room from their name and has created a stunning space for us all to enjoy. They’ve recently opened a tasting room and cellar door, bringing you the absolute best of Woodstock. The exquisite tasting room offers an in-depth and immersive experience for guests.

This tasting experience doesn’t involve a traditional tasting bench as they bring everything to their guests. You’re also able to bath in the sun in their courtyard space or at their famous Coterie Restaurant to enjoy the tastings.

They’re using barrel end tables and amazing WA Jarrah timber, with a rich history, adding so much warmth to the already vibrant space. The timber was purchased in 1974 from the Mildara Winery in Mildura. Prior to this, it was used for over 70 years for brandy production, and then the Collett’s used it in McLaren Vale for fortified production for many years.

Rich history, amazing local wine, and a stunning space to soak up the experience. What more could you want?  It’s not like you ever need an excuse to crack open a bottle from Woodstock’s, but why not do it in style at The Stocks Tasting Room.

This year marks three significant anniversaries for Woodstock and the Collett Family. They’re celebrating 45 years since Doug purchased the McLaren Flat property, 35 years since his son Scott embraces the history of the property and released the first wines under the now famous Woodstock name and 30 years since they opened the first winery restaurant in McLaren Vale – Coterie Restaurant.

The Stocks Tasting Room is open daily 10am-5pm and is located at 215 Douglas Gully Road, McLaren Flat.
