Vinteloper Are Campaigning For Your Heart Through Wine, Beginning This Friday At The Henry Austin

Let’s talk about Pinot. Let’s talk about how delicious it is. Let’s taste how delicious it is, especially when it’s from the Adelaide Hills. And let’s go meet the winemaker this Friday.

Is it your birthday this August? An anniversary perhaps? What about the commemoration of the night you were conceived? Ok, maybe that is just something your parents celebrate silently with smirks on their faces and you’ve always just assumed they reserve a night away together because they’re cute like that.

Well, regardless of any of these significant dates, we can tell you, they mean nothing in comparison to Pinot Palooza at the Queens Theatre. Why is that? Because Pinot is the everyman’s wine. Just like that really lovely person who always makes you feel welcome no matter where you see them, Pinot is a wine that is warm, friendly, approachable and will listen to your problems. Everyone has a very special Pinot of their own, one that makes them feel like the only person in the room. And there’s going to be a room full of Pinot to make everybody feel incredibly special.

One particular Pinot, perhaps a drink many of us call friend, is made by the humble crew at Vinteloper. This Adelaide Hills winery have been on something of a winning streak lately, being included in Top 100 lists of Aussie wines, and cracking the 90+ point mark from internationally admired wine tasters and media. They were also named the People’s Choice at the 2015 Pinot Palooza (actually, they were in the Top 5 twice with both of their Pinot Noirs), which meant most of all to them. And naturally, they would love to go back-to-back.

So unlike our Politicians who drew out an 8 week campaign into an anticlimax we’re still all sitting in like a wet towel after the pool, Vinteloper are embarking on a short campaign that is to the point – ie. tastings!

This Friday, July 8 at The Henry Austin, you can join Vinteloper for a tasting of their full range in the Chesser Cellars before hitting the bar for more merriment and some of the Henry’s famous Aussie Yum Cha delights. Drink with the winemakers and toast to good times in the city where it all began – Adelaide.

Of course, if you can’t make this Friday, now is the time to grab your Pinot Palooza tickets! The massive food and wine event turns 5 this year, and they’ll be going all out to impress on. You can’t survive on Pinot alone, trust us we’ve tried.

Pinot Palooza will take place on August 6 at Queens Theatre. tickets available here. For more details on Vinteloper and why they’re so damn good, visit their website. See you this Friday at the Henry Austin!
