Adelaide Hills artisan cheese company Udder Delights will take its place alongside some of the most spectacular culinary experiences our country has on offer, with their Hahndorf based Cheese Cellar a finalist in the Food Tourism category at the Australian Tourism Awards’ night of nights.

The Australian Tourism Awards recognise and promote excellence in tourism and will announce the national winners from more than 200 finalists in 28 categories at the Adelaide Convention Centre on Friday, April 10 2015.

As the state winner for SA, Udder Delights will battle it out for the national ‘Excellence in Food Tourism’ crown with seven other state and territory category winners – ACT’s Capital Region Farmers Market, NSW’s Margan Restaurant & Winery, NT’s Darwin Fish Markets, QLD’s Belmondos Organic Market, TAS’s Gourmania Food Tours Tasmania, VIC’s Green Olive at Red Hill and WA’s The Lake House Denmark.

“It is such an honour to be representing South Australia on the national stage, and to be amongst such high calibre contestants is quite overwhelming. Regardless of the outcome I’m so proud of our hard working team, and our Store Manager Ashley Dent. Together we have fine-tuned our product offering and perfected our customer service to ensure an excellent experience for our visitors.” Udder Delights Group Director and General Manager of the Cheese Cellar, Sheree Sullivan, said.
