The Riverbank revamp is set to be a foodie’s dream with three new outlets joining the summer pop-up bar NEON, providing a full range of options for us down by the Torrens this summer!

Opened this week is the new bar NEON which is in ‘pop-up’ mode for the summer, serving bright, bold cocktails and platters. Situated at the junction of the footbridge and the Dunstan Playhouse, Neon will take advantage of breathtaking views and establish itself as the new place to catch up with friends, or start the evening before a show or sporting event.

Renowned Adelaide Chef, Nick Filsell, will bring a street food kitchen style to NEON, following successful stints at Jamie’s Italian, Red Ochre and one of our personal favourites, Lost in a Forest!

Next to open will be the Koffee Ink café, which will open in the kiosk space at the eastern end of the new promenade – bringing with it the great food and coffee from the existing café located on Telstra Plaza at Adelaide Oval.

The third outlet to open will see the space formerly known as Lyrics transformed into The Star Kitchen and Bar. Managed by Adelaide Festival Centre, The Star will offer all day dining and entertaining on Adelaide’s Walk of Fame.

As if that all wasn’t enough, the Home Ground Summer Pop-Up will be running from 2-6 December on the Riverbank Lawn!!!

We’re pretty certain this is going to stir up the Riverbank precinct, and just in time for Summer dining and cricket season!

NEON is open now and the new kiosk and The Star Kitchen and Bar will operate from late December.
