New ‘Spring Affair’ Food & Wine Festival Launches In McLaren Vale

Three of McLaren Vale’s leading wineries are presenting the new event ‘Spring Affair’ over the October long weekend offering two days of live music, great local food and fine wines.

Maxwells, Coriole and Paxton will each be hosting events over the weekend.

Tickets to visit all three wineries on Sunday are priced between $50 and $70 including transport for the day, entry to the events and a wine glass. Alternatively for only $20 stay put at one winery on the Sunday.

Festivities continue at Maxwell’s on Monday the 6th with live music and free entry all day, McLaren Vale Grape Wine & Tourism Consultant CEO Marc Allgrove said, “There is so much to celebrate in McLaren Vale, and so many experiences to share that it is great to see initiatives such as the Spring Affair. It reinforces the quality and passion of McLaren Vale’s offering, and the contribution the region makes to South Australia’s premium food, wine and tourism message.’

Jeremy Maxwell from Maxwell Wines added ‘We are looking forward to sharing a bit of McLaren Vale with everyone. We enjoy what we do and where are in McLaren Vale, but sharing it all with friends is what is the most fun.’
