With many in our city owning a fur baby, the market for dog-friendly venues is booming, and there’s plenty of dog events popping up around town.
It’s little wonder then, that some smart cookie has come up with the idea for a dog bakery, specialising in canine friendly treats.
The Woofery Dog Bakery provides healthy and wholesome gourmet dog treats, made from 100% human grade ingredients.
Whilst looking like the cutest dog treats ever, The Woofery range has 16 flavours to choose from that are all free from artificial colours, preservatives and flavours.
The gourmet goodies are made entirely by hand with local ingredients using wheat-free and egg-free products and are even vegan-friendly.
For pups that are diabetic or find that most dog treats on the market upset their tummies, the goodies are also sugar-free and salt-free.
From small beginnings, Mandy McNamara began making natural treats for her own dog who suffered allergies and reactions from the products on the market, and her passion grew.
After a great deal of experimentation, consulting with Vets, Naturopaths and Holistic Practitioners, the pet groomer perfected their recipes.
Beginning by selling her treats from the small reception area of her grooming salon, it was not long before her realised that they needed a professional shopfront and baking equipment.
And so, The Woofery was born.
