When you think of iconic parties, you tend to imagine them at night time, right? But what if we told you that you might be wrong because here is a party invite that you won’t want to miss AND that is hosted during the day? Well, we can and we will. (And you can be certain that wine and dancing are bound to ensure).
Day Club have been throwing daytime parties in some of the most unique places that South Australia has to offer since 2015; from Port. Adelaide to Mclaren Vale, the Barossa to the River Torrens and back again. And we’re in luck because this winter they are brining the party to Adelaide’s city centre. (Hooray!)
Celebrating one of our cities most unique and ever changing venues, Day Club can’t wait to bring Chateau Apollo into the mix. Just like all their other daytime parties, this one looks set to bring all the wonderful South Australian flavours to the table.
Presented in collaboration with Umbrella Winter City Sounds and MusicSA. this will be Day Club’s first ever winter season.

With their philosophy being, “Music and wine warm the heart,” they are bringing a unique mix of South Australia finest DJ’s to the east end for an afternoon of wine and dancing – ensuring we remain as warm as can be.
Day Club was founded in 2015 by Ryley Smithson (drive host at Fresh 92.7) and ex-Adelaidean Dylan Sanders (A&R at Ministry Of Sound Australia).
Smithson and Sanders say, “We love music, and we love Adelaide. Our home has some many amazing qualities; the sun, the wine, the food, and the music. Our goal is to bring these all together.”
For all Day Club shows, there is a focus on taking you on a musical journey, and for this show, they say they wanted to expand on that idea. With DJs like Ryley, Felicity Aukett and J. Hennessy, we’re absolutely sure this means some serious beats will be about.
“We want to take you on a journey of the senses by pairing our wines with our DJs. We will make sure that your experience is not only unique, but has all the right tasting notes along the way.”
Tickets to this event include entry to the event. Drink Pairing tickets will not only get you into Day Club at Chateau Apollo, but it also gets you a selection of drinks perfectly paired to each dj set.
