The Store Re-Introduces Its Famed All-Day Brunch Menu

Popular North Adelaide restaurant and meeting spot The Store is re-introducing its famed all-day brunch menu.

The Melbourne Street institution, which opened in 1998, will now serve brunch until 3pm seven days a week.

Co-owner Sam Dunning, who took over the café in 2012, said the café was bringing back its all-day brunch menu because there was an increasing demand from both locals and tourists to serve brunch after midday.

“Brunch has become such an important part of Adelaide’s culinary culture – you only have to look at the countless cafes across the city and suburbs that are constantly bustling with people every weekend,” Sam said.

“We’ve always specialised in serving brunch but we’ve listened to what our customers want and that’s the convenience of being able to order breakfast any time of day. With the new menu, we’ll be able to cater for both early risers and those who like a good sleep in.”

The Store’s new all-day brunch menu features all the old favourites, such as bircher muesli and eggs benedict, as well as some exciting new dishes like quinoa fruit salad and smashed avocado with smoked salmon.

Diners will also be able to order more traditional lunch dishes such as a Caesar salad, wagyu beef burger or The Store’s famous Club Sandwich from the new menu.

Frequented by South Australian footballers and TV personalities, the licensed café also serves $10 espresso martinis and Bloody Marys, making it a perfect destination for celebrations or events.

“We also have private function space upstairs that can cater for up to 50 guests for a sit down meal or 100 guests for a stand-up cocktail function. We can cater for every kind of event from business breakfasts, to birthday lunches to engagement parties,” Sam says.

The Store is open Monday to Friday from 7am-3pm and Saturday and Sunday from 8am-3pm.
