The Parade Set To Transform Into Fashion Mecca With AFF17

The Parade will feature catwalk parades, markets, live music and more.

On Sunday 15 October, The Parade, Norwood will be transformed into a fashion mecca, featuring catwalk parades, markets, live music and entertainment for Fashion on Parade presented by Norwood Place.

The Fashion on Parade, presented by Norwood Place, as one of the main events of the 2017 Adelaide Fashion Festival program, showcasing The Parade as Adelaide’s premiere fashion shopping and retail destination.

“The Council is thrilled to host a major event on the State’s events calendar, with Fashion on Parade returning to our City for the Adelaide Fashion Festival,” said Mayor Robert Bria.

“We continue to build on the successes of the past ten years and continue to attract a broad and diverse audience to the event, by showcasing this unique and premiere main street destination and what it has to offer for the local and wider community.”

This free family event features an open air catwalk, fashion parades hosted by Kate Collins, the popular Norwood Fashion & Design Market, a VIP Runway Affair*, beauty bar, Fashion Factory and live music and entertainment throughout the day. The event kicks off from 11.00am – 4.00pm.

Road Closures: A temporary road closure will be in place on the day of the event: The Parade, Norwood (between George and Edward Streets) from 5.00am to 8.00pm
