Italians do a lot of things very well: cars, fashion, art and most importantly, food. Honestly, we’re mainly interested in the last one. In fact, we have had a reserve stomach just for Italian cheeses and desserts surgically installed to be prepared for any deliciously unexpected encounter.
So you can imagine our delight and unspeakable longing when two of our favourite local Italian food producers & BFF’s – Gelato Bello and La Casa Del Formaggio – have combined their culinary superpowers to create something together; and the frequent collaborators have created something very special this time.
Ricotta Blueberry Almond Gelato, as you might imagine, uses La Casa’s Traditional Ricotta, almond gelato from Gelato Bello and chunky blueberry jam to create a symphony of creamy, nutty sweet goodness.
