Numbers & Letters is the newest kid on the clothing block for all those hip little ones out there. Plain black or white children’s tees with, you guessed it, numbers and letters printed on the front.
And with Jennifer Centenara (a.k.a the wonder woman who started the Gilles Street Market) behind the brand you just know that your little tacker will be right on trend.
So where did the idea come from? Well Jenn says that after struggling to find a birthday gift for identical twins with a little bit of substance, and endlessly searching both online and in store, she noticed something was missing… Basic children’s tees.
When you find that ‘niche’ you run with that niche, and after a lot of consultation and feedback from local mums on typography styles and the fit etc. Numbers & Letters was born. It kicked off, suitably, at the Gilles Street Market in December last year.
More than just a statement, the tees are 100% organic cotton and made in Australia. And because kids love being kids, the heavy weight fabric used to make the tees ensures they last as long as possible. Which as a parent, is always something that you are looking for.
Who knew that fashion could also be educational! Well in this case it is and the little ones absolutely love being able to identify their age and/or initial on their very own tee. It is all about them!
