As we all wake up in a sleepy Sunday haze, our inboxes have been filled with glorious news. The nine-time Tony Award®-winning Best Musical, The Book of Mormon is coming to Adelaide, and we have the details!
After bearing witness to dozens and dozens, if not hundreds, of bus stops and billboards appearing around Adelaide last week, proclaiming “The Mormons Are Coming” we finally have confirmation that one of our FAVOURITE musicals, The Book of Mormon, will be coming to the stage in Adelaide.
It’s what we’ve all been waiting for!
The Book of Mormon is headed to Adelaide from the 27th of June to the 7th of July in 2019, AND PRE-SALE IS NOW OPEN! Tickets open to the public on Tuesday August 7th.
This is not a drill.
The New York Times calls it “the best musical of this century.”

And Entertainment Weekly says, “Grade A: the funniest musical of all time.”
This outrageous musical comedy follows the misadventures of a mismatched pair of missionaries, sent on a mission to a place that’s about as far from Salt Lake City as you can get. Now with standing room only productions in London, on Broadway, and across North America, The Book of Mormon has truly become an international sensation.
Written by Trey Parker and Matt Stone, the creators of South Park, alongside Robert Lopez who was behind Avenue Q, & Frozen, the show has risen to iconic fame, with fans across the world.
Tickets for the show range from $50 – $220 per seat, and there is a maximum of 8 tickets per sale. But get in quick! With THOUSANDS of comments on our original post about the show coming, we know this will be a sell out season!
