The Luck Of The Irish Is On Its Way To Morphetville Racecourse

The luck of the Irish is heading to Morphettville Racecourse with the South Australian Jockey Club (SAJC) hosting the SA racing event, Irish Race Day, Saturday 3 September 2011.

A warm-up for the spring racing season, Irish Race Day will bring Australian and Irish jockeys to South Australia.

On the track, a fun but competitive rivalry will be played out between Australia and Ireland, with jockeys from each country riding as individuals, as well as separate teams, each accumulating points to crown an overall winning country.

Off the track, Irish Race Day will bring plenty of celebration and plenty of food and drink with themed hospitality packages boasting fitting names, such as Pot O Gold, Irish Party and Celtic Celebration.

In true spirit of the Emerald Isle, Irish Race Day is typically a day for fun and frivolity and a calendar-must for racing enthusiasts, as well as those just looking for an entertaining day trackside.

Ticket and hospitality enquiries can be made to the SAJC or by visiting www.sajc.com.au
