BlenheimFest, Brick-a-laide, Sand Sculpting, the International Kite Festival, Easter and more!

Thursday, April 13 – Friday, April 14 – BlenhiemFest. It’s expanding beyond Good Friday and is kicking off a day earlier with sweet tunes on the Green Goat Stage. At heart of the Clare Valley, amidst rolling hills, luscious vineyards and drystone walls, the music and camping festival will begin with over 20 amazing international, interstate and local SA bands to keep the crowds entertained. What better way to spend the days before Easter?

Friday, April 14 – Saturday, April 15 – Brick-A-Laide. Yo’ block-heads! What are you waiting for?! Brick-a-laide is coming this Easter Long Weekend with an unbeatable line-up of brick creations showcased by local and interstate modellers and builders. You don’t have to be a kid to enjoy this two-day event. LEGO is fun for all ages. There will be amazing displays, retailers, interactive activities for the kids, competitions, life-size cosplay characters and the delicious Brick Café. Get your tickets now.

Saturday, April 15 – Monday, April 17 – Adelaide International Kite Festival. Come along to Semaphore beach over the Easter long weekend and watch the sky fill with colour, twists and twirls and kites of all shapes and sizes.

Friday, April 14 – Sunday, April 30 – Sand Sculpting Australia Presents ‘Alice In Wonderland. Sand sculpting like you’ve never seen it before. Held down at the Port Noarlunga Esplanade between, you can walk amongst the scenes from the magical tale of Alice In Wonderland – for example, the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party, The Queen Of Hearts procession, and spot the cheeky Cheshire Cat. There’s also a range of activities for kids including sand sculpting workshops and face painting. Plus, just for visiting over the Easter long weekend, entry includes a #sandsational Easter Egg Hunt, where all children receive a bag of eggs!

Saturday, April 15 – Monday, April 17 – Oakbank Easter Racing Carnival. With an excuse to dress up, have a barbie (you can bring your own FYI), a few champers and basically just a fun day out with friends and family, the Oakbank Easter Racing Carnival – held on Easter Saturday and Monday – is one social event you don’t want to miss. It’s not just the adults who can have fun! It’s a family-oriented event, so there’s plenty of activities and entertainment for the kiddies, including rides, a petting zoo and face painting.

Sunday, April 16 – Easter Sunday. Yes, that’s right! Easter Sunday is here. It a day for relaxation, spending time with family and cracking open the Easter eggs.
