The Crafty Cellar Door Opening In The Hills

There’s another new craft brewing operation coming to the Adelaide surrounds, this time up in the picturesque Hay Valley area in the Hills.

There’s another new craft brewing operation coming to the Adelaide surrounds, this time up in the picturesque Hay Valley area in the Hills. Mismatch Brewing, one of Adelaide’s most ubiquitous crafties, has joined forces with other local faves The Hills Cider Company, Adelaide Hills Distillery & Ashton Valley Fresh to build a cellar door and cafe operation to call their own.

After being awarded $960,000 under the State Government’s Regional Development Fund, the $4.5M project will provide a sales outlet for all four brands. After several years of contract brewing under others’ roofs, Mismatch is thrilled to start making brews in their own space.

Once fully operational, Mismatch’s brewing operation will produce 35 hecto-litres (3,500 litres – that’s a lot of beer!) per batch. The facility will also include packaging apparatus that will be shared by all four brands. The brewery/distillery/cafe will also create 35 working positions.

Now this is a state government initiative for job creation that we can get behind.

Chuck a like and follow at Mismatch’s Facebook and Insta to stay up to date about the construction process and eventual opening.
