This winter The Cooks Pantry located in Grange will be turning from a breakfast and lunch haven to a veritable house of winter warmers.
Every day a few soups from an exhaustive list will be on offered alongside the usual organic egg dishes, salads, poached fruits, gluten-free granola and bircher muesli as well as house-made (everything is made in-house) focaccias and patisserie.
James Bodroghy, head chef at The Cooks Pantry will be rolling out a variety of soups that will excite you, from options such as their vegan cauliflower gorgonzola and truffle oil creamy soup to their gluten free moroccan lamb and chickpea option, James will warm up your winter.
The Cooks Pantry menu is made entirely in-house with a concentration on using organic or bio-dynamic raw ingredients which makes the health conscious part of us happy. Regardless, their beef broth with winter veggies is a go to.
All soups are served with their house grilled focaccia bread or their wholemeal spelt loaf (made from biodynamic flour). With ample options for those who have dietary requirements, there’s no chance of missing out when you go to The Cooks Pantry.
If you’re already feeling the winter blues then The Cooks Pantry is the place to go and if you really like what you try then check out the cooking lessons that James offers here. Classes run for about three hours and you leave feeling like a chef.
Keep up with their soup changes (and everything else) on The Cooks Pantry Facebook.
