The Con Artists ‘Stealing the Show’ At the Adelaide Fringe

New a capella ensemble The Con Artists are set to perform at this years Adelaide Fringe Festival. Their new production: Stealing the Show tells the story of a struggling group of grifters and their ambitious plan to steal a fringe show right out from under the performer’s noses.

New a capella ensemble The Con Artists are set to perform at this years Adelaide Fringe Festival. The group, consisting of Julia Norman (22), Claire Langsford (24), Jane Lundberg (23), Ashton Shannon (24), James Moffatt (23), and Dan Roberts (23), was formed in August 2011. Their new production: Stealing the Show tells the story of a struggling group of grifters and their ambitious plan to steal a fringe show right out from under the performer's noses. It will be the first major production put on by the group and will feature a wholly original script, and a mix of pre-existing arrangements and songs arranged specifically for this production.

Stealing the Show will be performed at the Adelaide Convention Centre's new “The Big Slapple” fringe precinct, in The 48 Lounge. It will be held on the 6th, 12th, and 17th of March at 7pm and will cost $15 full price or $10 concession.

The Con Artists are an emerging a capella singing ensemble based in Adelaide, South Australia featuring new and upcoming talent from the wider Adelaide University community.

The Con Artists are an act that combines elements from concert hall style performance, cabaret, and sketch comedy.
