We’ve done the hard yards and researched the the best places to eat and drink next Sunday with mum, Mother’s Day events and of course, some awesome gift ideas too!

Arkaba Hotel Spoil mum with a delicious breakfast, lunch or dinner at the Arkaba this Mother’s Day! Each mum gets a little gift, and the kitchen is open all day. Call on 8338 1100 to book, or click here to book online.

Beresford House Celebrate Mother’s Day surrounded by picturesque vineyards, fine wines, irresistible dessert creations and a luxurious location as Beresford House hosts an exclusive high tea event. The event truly is the height of luxury and excellence, and is a perfect gift for mothers with an affinity for the exceptional. Cafe Sia Gawler If you’re in or around Gawler for Mother’s Day, you have to check out Cafe Sia Gawler. Hands down. They’re doing breakfast, lunch and dinner on Sunday 14 May. And These guys took out the award Winners for Excellence in 2016 so you know no matter what meal you go in for, it’s going to be good. Hilton Adelaide – Coal Cellar & Grill This popular venue has come back for another year with amazing selections of food to share with your Mum. Using brilliant South Australian produce, expertly combined to create exquisite dishes. They’re offering a buffet breakfast from 6:30am to 11:00am, at $37 per person. If you prefer a later booking, they’ll be holding High Tea from 2:00pm to 4:00pm for $49pp, which includes a range of treats along with of course, a glass of sparkling. FRED Eatery FRED Eatery is a friendly, fun environment to enjoy great food. Located in Aldgate Village, in the heart of the picturesque Adelaide Hills, FRED is the perfect eating house for Mothers Day. Treat Mum to the “Best Breakfast” (National Restaurant Award 2017) at FRED, with breakfast favourites including Breakfast Gnocchi Gnocchi, Green Eggs & Ham, Croque Madame and Happiness in a Bowl! Ginza Miyako Always a Glam fave for its unique French-Japanese offerings that leave you feeling oh so satisfied. Do something different this Mother’s Day and take her for a Japanese High Tea. Glen Ewin Estate It doesn’t get much more picturesque than at Glen Ewin Estate especially at this time of year with all the colours of Autumn sprawled across their lovely, rustic buildings. You and mum are invited to traditional morning tea (10am-12:30pm) or afternoon tea (2:30pm-5:00pm) for Mother’s Day with a free glass of bubbles on arrival. Gondola Gondola Another modern Asian restaurant we love, this time throwing a celebratory banquet for all those lovely ladies in our lives. If their evening banquet is anything to go by, you’ll be filled to the brim with absolutely mouthwatering fresh dishes. Hill of Grace Restaurant The Hill of Grace restaurant is going pink for the McGrath Foundation this Mother’s Day. Treat your Mum to an exquisite dining experience at Hill of Grace Restaurant and in doing so you’ll be supporting the McGrath Foundation. As part of their decadent three-course lunch offering, you’ll enjoy an entrée, main and dessert; with our signature oyster starter and a glass of bubbles to kick things off. $10 from every ticket purchased will be donated to the McGrath Foundation. Hoosegow Charcoal Restaurant & Bar Did somebody say charcoal feast? Oh yes, these guys know how to do it! And to celebrate the mum in your life they are offering up a spectacularly mouthwatering menu for lunch or dinner (or just do both). Inglewood Inn Treat Mum this year to a two course lunch in an open glass restaurant with breathtaking views of the Para River and Adelaide Hills. Intercontinental Riverside Restaurant The Intercontinental’s Riverside Restaurant boasts stunning views across the Torrens, and they’re throwing an indulgent Haigh’s & Champagne High Tea at 1pm. Tickets are $74 for adults and $44 for children, so treat your mum to a relaxing time with a spectacular background.

Just Bliss Chocolates These guys aren’t only one of the best artisan chocolatiers in Adelaide, they also have a little cafe attached to their Rundle Mall store which do amazing crepes, coffee and other delicious goodies. We’re thinking this would be great if you’re wandering around town doing some shopping with mum and looking for a nice stop off that’s out of the hustle and bustle of the mall. But please promise us if you go, you have to try their Mojito Caramel and Strawberry Jam handmade chocolates *drool*.

Mayfair Hotel’s Mother’s Day at the Mayflower Restaurant
Treat your mum on her special day to a Premium Breakfast at the Mayflower Restaurant. On arrival enjoy a non-alcoholic sparkling and barista coffee and tea. Breakfast sittings are available at 7.30 am for $49 per person. They’re also offering a luxurious Sparkling High Tea where mums can enjoy a glass of Chandon Champagne on arrival followed by a sumptuous selection of savoury and sweet items. There’s one sitting at 2pm, with tickets costing $59.

Mt Lofty Ranges Vineyard Does your mum love food and wine? Then this is the lunch for her! Mt Lofty Ranges Vineyard are putting on a 4-course luncheon overlooking their stunning surrounds. Adults $95 and Children $40.

National Wine Centre Set in the stunning Vines Room, you can indulge in three courses prepared from the finest local and seasonal produce, paired of course with a range of wines. Beginning at 12pm, attendees are given a glass of sparkling on arrival. Adult tickets are $79 and children $30.

Prohibition Liquer Co. We bet you’ve never thought about taking mum to a liquer store for Mother’s Day. Well, this year you should! Treat mum to something really special and take her to a High Tea… with Gin! Prohibition Liquer Co. are offering pots of Gin & Tea with their T2 tea infused gin and a High Tea tower to share, including savoury bites, scones and dessert bites for four. Stamford Grand The glamorous Glenelg hotel is throwing their Grand Mother’s Day Brunch in the Grand Ballroom. The Mile End The western suburbs hotel is offering Mother’s Day specials all day, with $10 Gin Fizzes and $7.50 glasses of sparkling. They’re open for lunch and dinner with a special menu for the day, so make your bookings through 8443 4756.

The Unley With happy hour 3-6pm and $10 pizzas, plus live acoustic music from 3pm. The Unley may be the perfect spot to spoil Mum. And then there are the bubbles by the glass and cocktail specials for the day… The goodness never ends! Booking is essential, call 8271 5544.

Treasury 1860 Celebrate Mother’s Day this year at the newly refurbished Treasury 1860, with both indoor and outdoor dining available. It is hard to believe you are in the heart of the city when nestled in the tranquil courtyard, surrounded by the historic Treasury building, the gentle fall of the autumn leaves and sound of birds playing in the fountain. Mother’s Day Classic What better way to start Mother’s Day than by running through the city in a sea of pink? Whether with or without your Mum (though we recommend with), it’s a great way to honour and support those suffering or have previously suffered from Breast Cancer. It’s a brilliant fun morning but please take note: as previously mentioned, the unspoken dress code is pink. Do not mistakenly wear purple, as certain members of the Glam team previously have.
