The Ashes Come To Adelaide

The Ashes is one of the most celebrated rivalries in world sport and this summer it is England who travel out as defending champions and will see Australia give it their all to reclaim The Ashes from England, who won the last series on their home ground.

Unlike most series The Ashes is spread over five Tests, having started in Brisbane at the Gabba, with Be there and witness sporting history being made!   Australia will take on England in the second Ashes Test at Adelaide Oval.

The first in Australia’s bid to regain The Ashes was held at the Gabba in Brisban, ending in a draw and will pick up where they left off in Adelaide before moving on to Perth, Melbourne and Sydney.

Adelaide Oval has made local headlines over the past year, but with Adelaide Oval’s new curator, Damian Hough (who took over after the retirement of Les Burdett in July) having cut and rolled his first international Adelaide Oval wicket in final preparations for the second Vodafone Ashes Test match on Friday, the ground and new stands look to be a great addition to what is already shaping up to be a “history making” Test Series.
