Adelaide is more than a city of churches. And today that is going to be shown that to the world, with the launch of The Adelaide Edit, at: www.pozible.com/adelaide.

As Australia’s most prominent crowdfunding platform, Pozible is expanding its presence in each state capital and offering crowdfunders many more opportunities.

This year they’ve already put Sydney and Brisbane in the spotlight through the Pozible Edits series, which showcase the best in local innovation, events and interesting projects.

“With the high standard of fantastic projects and ideas coming to Pozible from Adelaide, from film to music and and events, it was a natural choice to make Adelaide the focus of our next Edit,” said Pozible’s Marketing Campaign Manager, and Manager of the Edits, Romina Thaler.

Romina says that what she loves most about Adelaide, is that it’s a city of secrets, with a really strong creative community… along with some amazing food and beverages.

“Yes, most of the world already knows about the wine from the Barossa and McLaren Vale, but not the great new cider company recently established in the Adelaide Hills; or the Coop, Adelaide’s fair trade coffee shop and community space. These are just the tip of the iceberg of great concepts that have been crowdfunded on Pozible from South Australians. We can’t wait to see what’s next,” she said.

The Edits are more than an online gallery of cool and local innovations and projects, they give crowdfunders opportunities to get involved with Pozible and its networks through initiatives, events, workshops and residencies.

“Sydney’s and Brisbane’s events and workshops were all sell outs and we expect Adelaide to be no different. The same goes for the high standard of projects that come through in the Residency programs,” said Romina.

Here are just a few of the exciting projects to be included in The Adelaide Edit:

Fork on the Road

What started as a crazy idea has turned into a regular event for Adelaide’s mobile food vendors and foodie community. Now the event organisers and calling back on the community to help them with their 17th Fork on the Road.
