Tasting Australia begins today, 26 April in Adelaide, holding a series of events to get your tastebuds dancing until May 3.
Since its inception in 1997, Tasting Australia has become a huge international success.
The biennial festival is the perfect opportunity for food and drink professionals, the world’s food, drink and travel media and the public to enjoy the best that the nation and particularly South Australia has to offer in terms of produce, food products, wine and beer, hospitality and tourism.
Tasting Australia also provides a showcase for the world’s top culinary talents.
Tasting Australia is the nation’s premium provider of networking opportunities for anyone with an interest in fine foods and beverages.
It promises to be a unique event, providing entertainment, information and education.
There are more than 80 public events planned for the festival which include food and wine days, including the highlight of the festival, the BankSA Feast for the Senses, a two-day extravaganza.
The weekend will feature hands on cooking classes at Kids in the Kitchen presented by San Remo for the young and for the not-so-young, Miele Chefs’ Showcase on the main stage, and Selector Word of Mouth, a feast of the spoken word.
Throughout the festival there will also be unique opportunities to dine with some of your favourite celebrity chefs, writers and TV presenters in South Australia’s top eating establishments both in Adelaide and the regions is on the menu at Tasting Australia.
