Spaghetti Crab Is Officially Closing – Here’s When The Crab Runs Out

Got a hankering for Spaghetti Crab? You’ve got less than 10 days left to go!

Got a hankering for Spaghetti Crab? Hop to it – you’ve only got nine days left.

Opened by the team behind Ruby Red Flamingo, the North Adelaide one-dish restaurant opened for limited run, serving up Carmela Ventura’s genuine recipe using South Australia blue swimmer crabs and local San Remo Pasta.

They extended the original timeframe and said they’d remain open, “until the crab ran out”. But it appears that time has come.

They announced on their Facebook that the last day of Spaghetti Crab will be Saturday September 29.

They’ve promised that, “something new is coming soon”. While we don’t know what’s to become of the Spaghetti Crab space on O’Connell Street, we do know the Ruby Red Flamingo are busily working on another venue.

Sitting on Glen Osmond Road, Coccobello Italian restaurant is their newest venture, expected to open in around six weeks (we’ve got the first sneak peek here).
