South Australia Is Running a Tourism Ad That’s Five Days Long

The 120 hours of continual footage will be streamed across five days online, taking the viewer on a road trip across some of the highlights of the state.

If you’ve been to southaustralia.com this week you could’ve watched the view from the cockpit of a helicopter flying across the Flinders Ranges, or been taken underwater to go swimming with sealions and dolphins.

Yet to go this week and right from the comfort of your desk/couch/public transport, you can do the Adelaide Oval Roof Climb with Port Power’s Gavin Wanganeen and Adelaide Crows star Eddie Betts, cruise along the Murray on a house boat, be guided through d’Arenberg Cube with Chester Osborne, or explore Adelaide’s laneway bars.

The epic amount of footage is all part of South Australia’s newest tourism ad.

The ‘Rewards Wonder’ campaign includes 120 hours of continual footage, streamed across five days online, which takes the viewer on a road trip across some of the highlights of the state.

It was a mammoth task. In total, 65 tourism operators, 10 regions, 31 local talent, 18 cameras, 11 modes of transport and more than 50 local musicians were involved in bringing the campaign to life.

The ad has been streaming in real-time since 5pm Monday. You can tune-in right here to watch the feed live until Friday (it’s also being streamed in Rundle Mall).

Ain’t got time for that? You can see the quick 60-second teaser right here. Or head to the South Australian Facebook page to find out when the things you’re interested in are streaming, so you can jump straight into the good stuff.
