Smash TV Series Younger Makes Massive Announcement Ahead Of Season 5 Release

Ahead of its season five return, Stan’s smash hit series YOUNGER has been renewed for a sixth season.

Here in the Glam Adelaide office, we are Younger tragics. We have been waiting with baited breath for Season 5 to drop on Stan tomorrow, Wednesday June 6, while having lively debates over which team we are on (Charles or Josh).
I LOVE Younger because I’m 38 and I completely resonate with the main character and her challenges in a youth-driven, technological publishing world. The rest of the Glam Adelaide team on the other hand, relate with the more youthful characters. My husband is even on board, sees some of himself in the characters, and loves the show. There’s basically something for everyone here, with fantastic scripting, great characters, relatable scenarios, and a healthy dose of romance to keep us guessing. So WE ARE PUMPED
Ahead of its season five return TOMORROW (insert fan girl scream here), Stan’s smash hit series YOUNGER has been renewed for a sixth season – and we couldn’t be more excited.
Created by Sex & The City’s Darren Star, the series stars two-time Tony® winner Sutton Foster (Bunheads), Hilary Duff (Lizzie McGuire), Debi Mazar (Entourage), Miriam Shor (GCB), Nico Tortorella, Peter Hermann, Molly Bernard and Charles Michael Davis.
ABOUT YOUNGER SEASON FIVE
YOUNGER follows Liza, played by Sutton Foster, a woman who lies about her age at her job in the highly competitive world of publishing. As Liza’s personal and professional lives have become irreversibly intertwined over time, keeping the secret proves more and more difficult, and she finally reveals the truth to Kelsey, played by Hilary Duff, her friend and partner at work. Still, Liza must keep up appearances, as she is torn between her attraction to her boss and the fact that their professional relationship was built on a lie.
This season, series star Miriam Shor will make her television directorial debut with an episode to air in July and, as previously announced, Charles Michael Davis (The Originals), who plays Kelsey’s ex and work rival, Zane Anders, has joined the cast as a series regular.
Shot in Brooklyn and New York City, YOUNGER is also the reunion between Star and renowned Sex & The City costume designer Patricia Field, who serves as the show’s costume consultant.
Season 5 of YOUNGER will premiere June 6 exclusively on Stan with new episodes every Wednesday, same day as the U.S.
Seasons 1- 4 of YOUNGER are currently streaming exclusively on Stan
