Schweppes Oaks is calling all Ladies to round up their girlfriends and help celebrate Schweppes Oaks Ladies Day.
This Saturday March 26 2011 ladies will have the lucky opportunity to enjoy the Fancy Fillies High Tea in the Chairman’s room with a wide variety of both savory and sweet high tea and gorgeous Jansz sparkling as they celebrate one of the most anticipated days on the racing calendar.
The Upper Tapestry Pavilion will be hosting race wear and evening wear fashion parades by Miss Gladys Sym Choon, local fashion designer Razak and The Suit Co, with amazing views of the racecourse, a three course menu and five hour beverage package- what more can you ask for?
This fun-filled event brings together some of the country’s most talented three year old fillies. Including the unbeaten Zabeel filly Lights of heaven, prepared by Australia’s hottest trainer Peter Moody. One of Australia’s best maiden fillies Placement and the three place getters from the recent Auraria Stakes ‐ Shylight, Southern Speed and Absolutely.
Gates open at 10:00am on Saturday morning with the first race beginning at 12:50pm. There is over one million dollars prize money on offer over the eight race program, so come along ladies of Adelaide and spend your weekend at the races in style!
