SALA Festival: Bang & Olufsen Moving Image Project 2010

SALA moving imageThe 2010 South Australian Living Artists (SALA) Festival is proud to announce the launch of the Bang & Olufsen MOVING IMAGE PROJECT 2010 at Queens Theatre on Saturday 31 July and continuing until 14 August. This ground breaking exhibition and series of events over 14 days and nights is set to challenge the boundaries of what is considered moving image.

The Bang & Olufsen MOVING IMAGE PROJECT 2010 showcases the highest quality film and video, performance, installation and pixelation work of some of our best established and emerging visual artists across eight venues; Queens Theatre, Adelaide Entertainment Centre, Bang & Olufsen Grenfell St showroom, Rundle St Lantern, Adelaide Festival Centre, Arts SA, Diya Studio, Ripples Murray Bridge. A selection of works will also be showcased online at www.news.com.au and www.adelaidenow.com.au. All SALA exhibitions are free.

It all kicks off this Saturday evening, 31 July at The Queens Theatre, which will become a dynamic hub for the Bang & Olufsen MOVING IMAGE PROJECT 2010. This showcase opening event starts at 6.00pm and will include contemporary performances throughout the evening that interact with and compliment the Moving Image exhibits.
