There’s no denying that we have some incredible produce coming out of South Australia. With international award-winning wine, gin and beer, we’ve definitely cemented our seat at the big boys table over the last couple of years.
The most recent win goes out to McLaren Vale’s hidden gem Ulithorne, who took out “Best Australian Rhone Varietal” in Hong Kong last night at the 2017 Asia Wine Awards beating the other thousand of offerings.
Ryan Kinghorn, Ulithorne’s general manager said they are “so humbled by the win. Not a lot of people know about the winery, it was amazing to be noticed at a world recognised event”. We know how great McLaren Vale is, now its time that other people do to.
The winning product will now be showcased at the Shanghai Wine Expo and in Seoul, South Korea, showcasing McLaren Vale, and most importantly South Australia in general.
