InterContinental Adelaide’s Riverside Restaurant launched a new Winter menu on Tuesday 5th August. Encompassing local South Australian produce currently in season and sourced from local suppliers, the menu is one not to be missed. Glam Adelaide was lucky enough to sample some of the incredible dishes on offer and we can vouch for the quality of Executive Chef Tony Hart’s creations.

Chef Hart explains his inspiration behind the menu. “I was inspired when crafting our latest menu but many of the amazing local offerings produced within our region. Our partnerships with these local suppliers enable us to produce a range of unique and seasonal inspired dishes. A great example of this is the milk-fed pork from Barossa Valley Heritage Pork or the dry-aged sirloin on the bone from Holo meats, which are certainly highlights of the menu.”

Tony is also excited to return one of the signature dishes to the menu, “the slow-cooked Lamb shoulder which compliments the seasonal change well and provides outstanding flavours.”

The new menu will be met by an influx of new patrons. As Colin McCandless, the InterContinental Adelaide General Manager explains, “both our restaurants Shiki and Riverside Restaurant are frequented by interstate and international delegates each time a major conference comes to the Adelaide Convention Centre, and this year have seen a welcome increase in interstate guests due to the football.”
