Riverland Wine And Food Festival Back Bigger & Better Than Ever

The 2017 Riverland Wine and Food Festival is set to be the biggest, safest and best version yet of this important community event.

Now in its 15th year, the 2017 Riverland Wine and Food Festival is set to be the biggest, safest and best version yet of this important community event.

To be held on Saturday 21 October, the festival brings the fine people and producers of one of Australia’s most bountiful and diverse regions together, and acts to showcase a gourmet spectacle of superb wine, food and other goodies.

Set on the banks of the mighty Murray River in the riverside town of Berri, and shaded by the majestic century-old Riverside Gums, its epic location sets the scene for a truly unique event full of the very best that this stunning region has to offer.

A massive range of premium local refreshments will be readily available to sample and buy, including beer, wine, cider, sangria, spirits, and exciting and unusual wine varieties produced in the Riverland and for which it has steadily been gaining international recognition. This will be complimented by a delicious selection of food produce to savour!

Live entertainment ranging from cool jazz vibes, relaxing lounge music and the latest beats will entertain the masses while the ever-popular water fountain will return to keep everyone hydrated.

RAA designated driver packs will be available to say thanks to those taking responsibility for safe transport and a free bus service will operate to and from the festival courtesy of the Riverland councils to ensure patrons can enjoy their day and remain safe.

A economic and tourist boon to the region, festival organisers estimate the festival injects close to a million dollars into the Riverland economy and people who attend the Riverland Wine and Food Festival come back year after year to enjoy this spectacular experience and become advocates of “Brand Riverland”, building it through repeat business.

As those who have attended in the past will testify, the Riverland has a rich wine and food culture and a reputation for enjoying itself! Designed to be celebrated and shared with friends, family, and new acquaintances, this festival is fast becoming a must-attend fixture in the social calendars of an ever growing group of engaged fans!

So make sure you get in quickly to secure your spot in this year’s fun and festivities on the banks of Australia’s mightiest river.
