Republic NorwoodRepublic, Australia’s home to the Best Outdoor Beer Garden, Republic (as awarded by the AHA Awards), is ready to present their new look and feel to their ever-growing fan base.
Located in the trendy suburb of Norwood, Republic is now under new management, and is ready to launch the ultimate weekend experience with refreshes to the venue’s décor, entertainment line up and food and beverage offerings.
Newly appointed Venue Manager, Stephen Lee, says, “We thought it was time for Republic to take a breath of fresh air… But rest assured that what our patrons have come to know and love about Republic won’t change. We simply want to be ever-evolving to ensure we remain the modern, exciting pub that we are renowned for,” says Lee.
Republic is proud to introduce the new sassy night out, Miss Friday, with $5 bubbles and espresso martinis – what more could a girl want?! As for the guys, Republic is home to the largest range of beer on tap, including quirky craft beers.
“With irresistible drink specials, Miss Friday is the perfect way to kick-start your weekend, whether you’re looking for casual after work drinks or a big night out,” says Lee.
If you don’t want the party to end, Republic is also hosting the ideal Sunday session with a weekly Secret Garden Party. With special giveaways and the musical talents of Blues & Roots singer, Ciaram Granger, this Sunday session will be too good to miss.
“Ciaram Granger adds a special something to Republic’s ambience, as he performs modern commercial tracks with a blues and roots feel to it. We also have an impressive line-up of renowned singers and musicians from X-Factor and Australia’s Got Talent,” says Lee.
The Sunday Secret Garden Party also offers a delicious, new food concept where you can create your own platter. Patrons can choose from a variety of gourmet small goods and dips to formulate the ultimate dish to share with friends.
“The Republic team have prepared the perfect combination of food offerings, drink specials and entertainment to create a fun and enjoyable atmosphere for all. We see the ‘create your own platter’ concept as a great way to mix things up to either sample new flavours or make sure all your favourites are on the one plate,” says Lee.
The brains and talent behind Republic’s new menu is owed greatly to the team effort of newly appointed Head Chef, Robert Johnston and renowned Chef, Chris Wotton.
Johnston brings a wealth of experience to Republic with over 15 years in the industry, and is ready for patrons to sample his new creations. Wotton has over 26 year experience in the food and hospitality industry, and has worked closely with Johnston to produce a bigger and better menu with a broader range of delicious offerings.
Johnston says, “Republic’s new menu possesses a rustic, gourmet vibe, with a focus on delicious home style cooking that can only be cooked in our restaurant. People today are becoming more health conscience and want to consume top quality ingredients that are prepared in-house. The new menu now includes a variety of healthy options, with a focus on wholegrain and gourmet salads.
“But don’t worry, the menu still features crowd favourites such as the Suckling Pig, as we are now focused on accommodating for a wider variety of food preferences,” says Johnson.
The new menu will be launching Thursday, 16th April, with Miss Friday well underway and the Sunday Secret Garden commencing this Sunday, 12th April. So gather your friends and enjoy the ultimate weekend experience at Australia’s Best Outdoor Beer Garden, Republic.
