If you’re in Norwood and still casting about for Mother’s Day plans, The Colonist has got your back. They’ll be celebrating mums all day long, with a special menu, discounts on bubbles and cocktails and live entertainment in the afternoon.
The (freshly painted) Norwood mainstay will be open from 8.30am on Mothers Day, with bookings highly recommended. Enjoy breakfast until 11.30am, then gastropub meals from an All Day (12-9pm) Mother’s Day menu. Chef’s specials will also be available on the day, and the team at the Collie have been hard at work creating new menu items like these delicious looking grazing plates.
Acoustic virtuoso Jonny Lee will be playing live music on the day from 3pm to keep you entertained into the afternoon, or to enjoy over a glass of wine before settling in for dinner.
Some of the deals on the day are Hentley Farm Blanc de Noir Sparkling for $10 p/glass or $45 p/bottle, Espresso Martinis at $10 each and a $10 Cocktails & Gin Happy Hours from 3pm-5pm.
