Professor Green and Ruby Rose to support Jessie J

Future Entertainment is excited to announce today that UK underground hip-hop phenomenon, Professor Green, has accepted the mic as support for Jessie J’s first ever Australian headline tour.

Breaking out of London’s underground hip-hop scene in 2006 at the tender age of 23, Professor Green (aka Stephen Paul Manderson) is a remarkable talent, who in just five years won the inaugural JumpOff Myspace battle rap tournament, toured with megastars Lily Allen and The Game, and released his debut LP (Alive Till I’m Dead) on Virgin Records. His acclaimed follow up is titled At Your Inconvenience, and is already shaping up to be another huge release for the British rapper – lead single ‘Read All About It’ (Feat. Emeli Sandé) peaking at #1 in the UK.

Joining Jessie J and Professor Green is DJ, designer and all round sassy lady Ruby Rose. As a DJ, Ruby Rose’s stock has risen considerably in the last 12 months, scoring sets at some of the hottest clubs, parties and music festivals in Australia and around the world. With her successful radio, television and dance music ventures in tow (including a top 10 ARIA Dance release with Grant Smilie), Rose is now currently working on her first solo album.

Jessie J meanwhile has had a busy couple of months, performing at the MTV Video Music Awards, releasing two new singles (‘Who You Are’ and ‘Domino’) and continuing to take the US by storm (‘Domino’ reaching top 20 on the Billboard charts and continuing its ascent). Just released in the UK, the Dr Luke-produced track has since claimed the #1 position on iTunes.

Jessie J, alongside Professor Green and Ruby Rose, will play the Adelaide Entertainment Centre on Wednesday, March 14. Tickets on sale through Ticketek (13 28 49)
