Prancing Pony Are Taking ‘Movember’ By Storm

And did we hear there’s a new beer in the works?

Is there a better match than moustaches and beer? Ask Prancing Pony head brewer Frank Samson, and you’d know it’s a natural pairing. And when charity is added to the equation, it’s something we can all get behind. This Movember, Prancing Pony are making sure it’s done right. A series of events will be held, celebrating all things facial hair and Prancing Pony’s delicious beer counterparts. All you need to do is head along and enjoy a few award winning pints!

We begin this weekend as the Brewshed in Totness hosts will have DJs on Friday November 4th and Saturday November 5th to kick off with a party. On Sunday November 6th and 13th, moustache craftman Chris from Roll’n Royal Barber Shop will be providing facial hair styling, laying down some manscaping of the finest calibre. Throughout the month, Karma Keg will be raising money for men’s health. And the more you visit, the more money they raise.

But that’s not all the Pony is up to this month. They’re out and about taking their beer to the people. The beginning is this Thursday, November 3rd with the dudes that make, sell and drink some great craft beer all heading to Edinburgh Cellars in Mitcham. A second chance comes at the newly minted Sturt Street Cellars where the Supreme World Champion Beer plus some great summer sessionable beers will be available to try on November 10th. And if you’re so inclined, they will also appear at the Bowerbird Design Market at the Wayville Pavilion, Adelaide Showground from November 25 – 27. Grab a beer and hunt for Christmas gifts from a hand-picked selection of the best independent contemporary Australian and Adelaide designers. Or just grab a beer…

We’ve heard by word of mouth that Prancing Pony will be releasing a brand new, secret beer at The Colonist on November 17th. Following Prancing Pony’s current star status with their India Red Ale taking out the best beer in the world for 2016, this unveiling is not one to miss.

But there are countless ways to enjoy Prancing Pony beers this November. Whether it’s kicking back on the couch, watching the cricket on television or bringing a 4 pack to a friend’s place for dinner. The options are limitless. So stock that fridge!

Or if you fancy a trip up to The Brewshed, head to 42 Mt Barker Road, Totness (the tiny suburb between Mt Barker and Hahndorf). If you can’t make it, you can order through their website, or follow the events on their Facebook. Or even better, start to demand that your local pub their stock these beers.
